DNA Immunogens Against Herpesviruses
The world’s first DNA vaccine against all herpes types, incorporating conserved epitopes from viral DNA polymerase, pp85, VHSP, MCP, gE, gD, gH, and gB proteins. It induces T-cell immunity and antibodies, with an intra-antigen adjuvant for enhanced efficacy.

The first construct was tested in a mouse model of lethal herpes vaginitis caused by herpes simplex virus type 2 (Human alphaherpesvirus 2). In these trials, our developed vaccine demonstrated higher efficacy compared to the control vaccine Vitagerpavac.

The developed and tested candidate vaccine has been granted Patent No. RU2016145253A.
